Roles: As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and preparing guest rooms for arrival. You’ll work through a consistent daily routine, with full training provided from day one. No prior experience is necessary – we’re looking for reliable, detail-oriented people who take pride in their work.
What you’ll be doing:
Dust all surfaces including furniture, shelves and drawers. Vacuum carpets, moving light furniture as needed. Sweep and mop floors, spot clean walls. Wash and dry sinks, vanities, tubs, shower stalls, toilet bowls, tiles and fixtures. Clean mirrors and shine all bathroom fixtures. Wash or request replacement of shower curtains. Clean and disinfect telephones, remote controls and handles. Remove garbage and clean trashcans. Wipe down all room furniture, fixtures and equipment. Make beds and replace bed pads when necessary. Ensure all linens are clean and in good condition. Restock towels and bathrobes as needed. Replace all guest room amenities including bathroom supplies and minibar items. Deodorize rooms and adjust heating or air conditioning as needed. Report items needing replacement or repair to management. Complete job-related documents accurately and on time. Report any guest concerns to your supervisor. Stock and maintain your cleaning cart neatly each day.
Skills/background needed:
No experience required – we provide full training. You should be comfortable with physical work: the ability to walk, bend, and stand for long periods. You’ll need to be able to push, pull, lift and carry items up to 50 lbs. Friendly, reliable, and able to work well with a team. Comfortable taking direction and working with minimal supervision. Basic English communication skills. A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Desirable (but not required): High school diploma. Previous housekeeping experience. Ability to speak multiple languages.
