About the role
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be part of a team that keeps guest spaces clean, welcoming, and well-maintained. This is a hands-on role where you’ll learn practical housekeeping skills on the job.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Responding promptly to requests from guests and team members. Stocking and transporting supply carts to assigned areas. Entering guest rooms following proper procedures and ensuring rooms are vacant before beginning work. Replacing guest amenities and supplies. Changing bed linens and towels with clean items. Making beds and folding linens. Cleaning bathrooms thoroughly. Removing trash, soiled linens, and room service items. Checking that all appliances are present and functioning properly. Straightening furniture, desk items, and appliances. Dusting, polishing, and removing marks from walls and surfaces. Vacuuming carpets and performing general floor care in guest rooms and common areas.
What we’re looking for:
A reliable, detail-oriented person who takes pride in their work. You should be willing to follow procedures, maintain a professional appearance, and communicate respectfully with guests and colleagues. You’ll need to be comfortable lifting and moving objects up to 25 pounds, pushing and pulling loaded carts, and being on your feet for extended periods. The ability to reach, bend, kneel, and work across varied surfaces is essential for this role.
