About the role
We’re looking for reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our housekeeping team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for keeping guest rooms and public areas clean, welcoming, and well-maintained. You’ll play a key part in creating a positive experience for our guests through your attention to cleanliness and commitment to high standards.
What you’ll do
Room Cleaning: Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and dusting and vacuuming. Ensure all room amenities are properly placed and stocked.
Public Areas: Maintain the cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, and common spaces, ensuring they remain tidy and welcoming to guests.
Supplies Management: Keep cleaning supplies and amenities well-stocked, and request replenishments when needed.
Report Issues: Notify the appropriate team of any maintenance or repair issues you notice in rooms or public areas.
Lost and Found: Handle lost and found items following established procedures.
Laundry Duties: Assist with washing, drying, and folding linens and towels.
Guest Requests: Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests for additional towels, toiletries, or other services.
Privacy and Security: Respect guest privacy and follow security protocols when handling room keys and access.
Quality Standards: Ensure all rooms and public areas meet cleanliness and maintenance standards, with close attention to detail.
Skills and qualities we’re looking for
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively. Good organizational skills to prioritize tasks. Physical stamina to perform tasks like lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling (up to 35+ lbs), and standing for extended periods. Willingness to adapt to new tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. A reliable, conscientious approach to your work. Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not required—we provide full training.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Full Time, Ongoing
Skills/background needed: No experience required. Full training provided. Knowledge of basic cleaning equipment and products is helpful but not essential.
