About the role:
You will perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep guest rooms, common areas, and the building clean and welcoming. You will report to your supervisor or manager on duty and work as part of a dedicated housekeeping team.
What you’ll do:
• Remove and replace linens, towels, and trash from guest rooms
• Clean and sweep common areas including lobbies and break rooms
• Report maintenance issues and damaged items to your supervisor
• Check bedding and furnishings for stains or damage and handle replacements
• Move and arrange furniture as needed
• Restock supplies in assigned storage areas daily
• Monitor assigned areas throughout your shift to collect trash and soiled items
• Report lost or found items and any damage to your manager
• Move and organize supplies from storage areas
• Operate standard cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor machines, and mops
• Complete other tasks as assigned by your supervisor
Skills/background needed:
• Ability to stay calm and respond quickly if issues arise
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems
• Willingness to learn how to use standard cleaning equipment
• Comfort working with cleaning products and chemicals
• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
• No prior experience required—full training will be provided
