Roles: This on-site position involves performing housekeeping and service duties necessary to maintain residential and common areas in an orderly, safe, sanitary, and attractive condition. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining patient care areas, residential apartments, bathrooms, and other facility spaces. Duties include dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming, and polishing assigned areas in a timely manner. You will also empty and transport soiled linen, manage trash removal, maintain cleaning equipment and carts, and respond to requests from residents and staff with excellent customer service.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Full time, permanent position.
Skills/background needed: No prior housekeeping experience is required—full training will be provided. We are looking for people with excellent organizational and customer service skills. You should be able to handle multiple priorities, respond positively to unexpected changes, and communicate effectively with a variety of people. Physical fitness is important for this role, as you will be performing repetitive cleaning tasks throughout your shift. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.

What you’ll do:
Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming, and polishing in assigned areas—patient rooms, residential apartments, office spaces, public areas, bathrooms, and other facility spaces. Complete thorough discharge cleaning when areas have been vacated. Follow all infection prevention practices and safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials. Maintain clean and well-stocked cleaning carts, stations, and storage areas. Empty and transport soiled linens and manage trash removal to keep the facility odor-free. Respond professionally to questions and requests from residents, staff, and visitors. Build positive working relationships with colleagues and team members.
