Housekeeping Attendant – Variable Hours, Entry Level

A Housekeeper works under the direction of the Head Housekeeper to help ensure and maintain the cleanliness of the entire facility, including guest rooms, public spaces, offices, and common areas. You will contribute to creating a clean and welcoming environment for all guests and visitors.

What You’ll Do

Cleaning Guest Rooms

• Complete housekeeping reports and use hotel management systems
• Clean and disinfect guest rooms (remove trash and dirty linens, make beds, vacuum, clean bathrooms)
• Perform deep cleaning of rooms as needed (move furniture, turn mattresses, clean air conditioning units, defrost refrigerators, clean walls)
• Communicate with the Head Housekeeper and Front Desk Staff regarding room status and any maintenance needs
• Coordinate with Front Desk Staff to provide service for guests currently staying in the facility

Manage Linens, Towels, and Guest Room Supplies

• Sort, wash, fold, and store laundry
• Stock closets with linens, towels, cleaning supplies, and guest room amenities

Clean Hotel Facilities

• Clean, disinfect, vacuum, sweep, mop, and collect trash in offices, front desk areas, and public restrooms
• Perform regular cleaning of hallways, public spaces, stairwells, laundry areas, fitness facilities, and housekeeping areas
• Assist the Head Housekeeper with guest room projects and upgrades under their direction

Skills/background needed: No prior experience required. Full training will be provided. You should be comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs regularly, have good organizational skills, and be able to prioritize tasks. Flexibility is essential—you’ll need to work at least two weekends (or four weekend days) per month, work holidays (except Christmas), and be available to work beyond your scheduled shift if needed on an emergency basis.

Contract length: Variable hours
