About the Role
We’re hiring Housekeepers to join our team at a busy healthcare facility. In this role, you’ll provide essential cleaning services that keep patient areas clean, safe, and welcoming. You’ll work as part of a dedicated environmental services team, where your contributions directly support patient care and comfort.
This is a straightforward, hands-on position perfect for someone looking to start a new career. No prior experience is necessary – we provide full training on all cleaning procedures and equipment.
What You’ll Do
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Clean and sanitise patient rooms, hallways, and common areas using approved cleaning methods
- Change linens, restock supplies, and prepare rooms for new patients
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and keep all tools well-maintained
- Report any damaged furniture or fixtures to your supervisor
- Work as part of a supportive team to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Interact respectfully with patients, visitors, and colleagues
What We’re Looking For
Ideally, you’ll have:
- A high school diploma or GED (preferred, but not required)
- Reliability and a willingness to learn
- Basic ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Comfort with physical activity – this is an active role involving standing, bending, and moving throughout your shift
- A positive attitude and respect for others
