We are hiring a Part-Time Housekeeper for an on-site position. This role offers flexible scheduling with shifts on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
About the role:
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining clean and hygienic spaces throughout the facility. You will use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies to perform floor cleaning, carpet care, and general housekeeping duties. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and teamwork are essential.
What you’ll do:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in assigned areas following established schedules
- Clean and refinish hard surface flooring to a professional standard
- Shampoo carpets and treat spots and stains
- Report maintenance issues with equipment, furniture, or building fixtures
- Move and arrange furniture as needed
- Maintain your work area and equipment in clean condition
- Assist with emergency spill cleanup
- Communicate clearly with team members and management
- Adapt to changing work assignments and priorities
- Maintain professional appearance and hygiene standards
- Identify potential problems and report them to management
- Complete additional duties as assigned
Skills/background needed:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)
- Prior housekeeping experience is helpful but not necessary
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties and lift equipment
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining clean spaces
- Clear communication skills
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
