Position Summary:
This is an entry-level housekeeping position where you’ll maintain facility areas in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition. You’ll perform a variety of cleaning and restocking duties, and help maintain clean linens and fabrics by collecting and delivering laundry. No prior experience is required – full on-the-job training will be provided.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Cleaning all areas of the facility to maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety• Performing cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, disinfecting, and polishing• Cleaning, disinfecting, and preparing rooms and furniture• Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of public areas including hallways, restrooms, waiting rooms, and staff areas• Using cleaning chemicals safely according to manufacturer instructions• Restocking supplies such as hand soap, towels, and toilet paper• Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment as directed• Working collaboratively with team members and following supervisor guidance• Reporting any safety concerns or maintenance issues• Maintaining confidentiality and treating all people with respect and dignity
Schedule:
6:00 am – 2:30 pm, every other weekend, with rotating holidays. Full-time position.
Skills/Background Needed:
No prior housekeeping or cleaning experience required. You should be willing to learn, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working in a team environment. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining clean and safe spaces are important.
Rate:
Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
