Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, floor care, and surface sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures effectively across all areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage laundry services, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other tools to maintain various surfaces
- Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting and outdoor work as needed for outdoor cleaning or yard maintenance
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and ensure their satisfaction with the housekeeping services provided
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and detergents, ensuring proper storage and usage of all cleaning agents
Skills/background needed
No prior housekeeping experience required. Full training will be provided. We’re looking for someone with strong attention to detail, the ability to perform manual handling tasks safely including heavy lifting, and excellent time management skills. You should be comfortable working independently, flexible enough to work outdoors when required, and able to adapt to various cleaning environments. Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach to customer service are essential.
