Position Title: Housekeeper
About the role:
You’ll help create a welcoming environment for guests by maintaining clean, comfortable rooms and common areas. This is a full-time, entry-level position that offers training and the chance to be part of a hospitality team. No previous experience is required—we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare rooms for guests by dusting, vacuuming, and mopping
- Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including mirrors, sinks, showers, and toilets
- Change and make beds with fresh linen
- Restock bathroom and room supplies to the correct levels
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed, such as carpet cleaning and seasonal deep cleans
- Handle minor maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs and filters
- Respond to guest requests and keep the team informed of any issues
- Maintain organized, clean work areas and equipment
- Update room status on assignment sheets
- Assist colleagues when needed and be ready to pitch in across different areas
- Learn about guest services and local attractions to answer questions helpfully
Skills/background needed:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail
- High energy and passion for cleanliness
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a busy environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Professional, positive attitude at all times
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous hospitality or cleaning experience is helpful but not required—we provide full training
