Join a growing housekeeping team maintaining vacation rental properties in the local area. In this role, you’ll be responsible for cleaning and preparing homes to a high standard, ensuring guests enjoy a welcoming and comfortable environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout properties
- Replace linens, towels, and guest amenities
- Ensure all areas are stocked with necessary cleaning and bathroom supplies
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to your manager
- Follow all cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Maintain a professional appearance and work manner at all times
- Assist with additional cleaning requests during busy periods
Skills/background needed:
No prior housekeeping experience required—full training will be provided. You’ll need reliable local transportation and access to a smartphone for communication. The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. This is a physical role requiring constant movement, with typical work days between eight and ten hours.
Physical requirements:
This position requires approximately 90% of your time in constant movement. You’ll need to be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds regularly. The role involves frequent crouching, stooping, and bending throughout your shift.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Contract position
Schedule: Includes weekends. Hours are scheduled in coordination with your manager based on property cleaning needs.
Location: Local positions available in the Manzanita area. This is an in-person role requiring you to work at various properties.
