This role involves routine cleaning and servicing of assigned areas, ensuring spaces are well-maintained, supplied, and ready for use. You’ll work as part of a housekeeping team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
What You’ll Do
Your daily responsibilities will include:
• Making beds neatly with fresh linens, including sheets, duvets, blankets, and pillowcases
• Removing dirty linens and replacing them
• Picking up debris and trash from floors, emptying wastebaskets, and cleaning mirrors, shelves, and closets
• Wiping down door frames, window sills, walls, and baseboards
• Arranging furniture and cleaning appliances and equipment
• Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, including basins, bathtubs, toilets, tiles, and floors
• Replenishing bathroom supplies, linens, and room amenities according to standards
• Cleaning mirrors, windows, and glass doors
• Vacuuming carpets and hallways
• Reporting room status and any items requiring repair or additional attention
• Restocking cleaning carts
• Managing lost and found items appropriately
You’ll also contribute to a positive work environment by maintaining professionalism, assisting coworkers when needed, and identifying any cleanliness, safety, or maintenance issues.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Full time, ongoing.
Skills/background needed:
No prior housekeeping experience is required. We provide full training on all cleaning procedures, equipment, and safety standards. You should have:
• Ability to read and understand safety instructions and chemical labels
• Basic communication skills to interact positively with others
• Ability to follow procedures and work with minimal supervision
• Willingness to perform physical labour, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Ability to carry items up to 40 lbs and lift regularly
• Reliability and the ability to work within scheduling guidelines
Previous customer service experience can be valuable, but is not required. If you have prior related work experience, that can support your application.

Physical demands:
This is a physically active role. You’ll be walking and standing throughout your entire shift. You’ll regularly lift items up to 15 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs to waist height and above. You’ll push a housekeeping cart regularly and spend most of your time bending, stooping, and reaching. The work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment.
