About this role
We’re looking for a Housekeeping Attendant to join our on-site team at a hotel property. You’ll support the housekeeping team by handling linens, delivering supplies, and keeping common areas clean and organised. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone ready to learn the hospitality industry from the ground up.
What you’ll do
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Collect and transport dirty linens to the laundry area, and deliver clean linens and supplies to room attendants
• Help with heavy items like mattresses and linens
• Remove trash throughout the property and maintain floor closets and corridors
• Clean and organise public areas including restrooms, storage rooms, and exterior entrances
• Support laundry operations—monitor supplies, operate washers and dryers, fold and store clean linens
• Respond to guest requests and special housekeeping needs in a timely way
• Report repairs or safety concerns to your supervisor
• Assist with deep cleaning projects as assigned
• Work as part of a team across different shifts to maintain quality service
Skills/background needed
• No prior experience required—we provide full training
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English
• Comfortable standing, bending, kneeling, and moving around the property for extended periods
• Able to lift, carry, and pull items weighing up to 75 pounds regularly
• Willing to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Comfortable using commercial cleaning chemicals
• A team player with a positive attitude
