We’re looking for someone who takes pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces for guests. You’ll be an integral part of our housekeeping team, maintaining guest rooms to high standards that ensure comfort and satisfaction. A keen eye for detail, a commitment to quality, and a genuine passion for service are what make a successful candidate in this role.
What You’ll Be Doing
Clean and prepare guest rooms according to established standards and procedures. Inspect rooms for cleanliness, check that all guest supplies are stocked, and note any items that need attention. Respond promptly to guest requests and take ownership of ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. Handle all cleaning equipment and machinery safely, and report any defects or maintenance issues to your manager immediately. Keep linen and storage areas tidy, properly stocked, and well-organised. Report any room damages or repairs needed. Complete deep cleaning tasks as assigned. Maintain professional and positive relationships with teammates. Follow all health and safety protocols, and report any hazards or concerns to management.
Skills/background needed
No prior experience required. You should have a genuine desire to help others and work in a busy environment. Basic written and verbal communication skills are important. You’ll need to be able to lift, push, and pull moderate weights regularly (up to 50 lbs). Physical stamina is essential—you’ll be on your feet for extended periods, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching throughout your shift. Ability to follow instructions, stay organised, remain calm under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities. Full training will be provided.
