We’re hiring a full-time housekeeper to join our team and help maintain clean, welcoming spaces for residents.
Position Overview:As a housekeeper, you’ll be responsible for cleaning and maintaining resident rooms, bathrooms, and other assigned areas. You’ll use cleaning solutions and equipment to maintain high hygiene standards and prevent the spread of infection. This role involves sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
What You’ll Do:
Keep your assigned areas neat and clutter-free. Clean and dust resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and other designated spaces. Empty and replace trash liners. Help clean dining area tables and chairs. Use approved cleaning chemicals and disinfectants to deep-clean assigned areas, wash floors and furnishings, and scour sinks, tubs, and mirrors daily. Clean windows and walls at least monthly (more often as needed). Turn mattresses as needed with help when necessary. Sweep, mop, and vacuum daily. Move furniture and equipment weekly with assistance as needed.
Use cleaning and floor care equipment correctly, including dust cloths, vacuum cleaners, wet and dry mops. Report repairs needed by completing a maintenance request form. Keep your work area and supplies organized. Replace cleaning, paper, and hand soap supplies as needed.
Schedule:Full-time position. You’ll be scheduled to work some weekends and holidays.
Skills/Background Needed:No prior experience required. We provide full training on all cleaning methods, equipment, and safety procedures. You must be at least 18 years old. The role involves medium physical effort—occasionally lifting or exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force, frequently 10 to 25 pounds, and regularly handling lighter items. You should be willing to learn multiple housekeeping tasks across different departments.
Rate:Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract Length:Full time, ongoing.
