This position encompasses multiple housekeeping opportunities within a resort setting, including:
Room Attendant, Housekeeping Support, Guest Suite Preparation, and Public Area Cleaning. Specific assignments will be determined based on your strengths and the operational needs of the facility.
Position Summary:
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming guest experience through high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail. Every interaction with a guest and every space you maintain contributes to the comfort and care that defines quality hospitality service.
Whether preparing guestrooms for arrival, cleaning and maintaining public spaces, or supporting the housekeeping team behind the scenes, you will be part of a team dedicated to delivering excellent service. No prior experience is required—we provide full training and support as you learn.
What You’ll Do:
Guestroom & Housekeeping Services• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to cleanliness and presentation standards• Make beds, change linens, vacuum, mop, sanitize, and maintain guestrooms• Complete inspections of assigned spaces to ensure they are guest-ready• Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate needs to the appropriate team• Handle guest items with care and respect• Identify and report maintenance issues, damaged items, and other conditions needing attentionPublic Areas & Facility Presentation• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of public spaces including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and recreational areas• Inspect assigned areas and address cleaning needs proactively• Ensure public spaces remain polished and inviting throughout the day• Assist with special cleaning projects and deep-cleaning assignments as neededHousekeeping Support• Transport linens, towels, supplies, and materials throughout the facility• Stock and maintain housekeeping closets and storage areas• Collect and transport soiled linens and refuse according to procedures• Support team members with the timely completion of daily assignments• Maintain equipment and supplies in clean, organized condition• Follow all safety, sanitation, and workplace proceduresGuest Experience & Professionalism• Demonstrate care and professionalism in every guest interaction• Protect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality• Maintain a polished, professional appearance while working• Communicate effectively with the housekeeping team and other departments
Skills and Background Needed:
• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is helpful but not required—full training is provided• Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities• Exceptional attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality• Professional, courteous, and service-oriented approach• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends, holidays, and peak periods• Ability to perform physical requirements including standing and walking for extended periods, bending, lifting, and carrying housekeeping supplies• High school diploma or equivalent• Reliable transportation• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
