What you’ll be doing:
As a Housekeeping Aide, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Change and remake beds with fresh linens
Remove soiled towels and replace with clean, dry ones
Dust all surfaces including furniture, lighting, corners and vents
Vacuum and sweep floors
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including fixtures, flooring, showers and bathtubs
Clean and dry interior windows
Restock guest supplies to appropriate levels
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
Follow all health, safety and fire policies
Respect guest privacy at all times
Arrive on time and maintain high standards of grooming and professionalism
Work as part of a supportive team to keep the property clean and welcoming
Skills and background needed:
Ability to communicate clearly with team members, managers and guests
Willingness to bend, lift, climb stairs and perform repetitive motions as part of the work
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards
Ability to manage your workload and work well with team members
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Basic understanding of cleaning and sanitation standards
Previous housekeeping experience is helpful but not required
