Job Overview
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead cleaning and sanitation operations. In this role, you will oversee daily housekeeping activities, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment. Your leadership will maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping staff to ensure consistent delivery of cleaning services aligned with safety and sanitation guidelines
Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring all areas are maintained according to safety and sanitation standards
Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, use of cleaning equipment, and safe lifting practices
Monitor compliance with workplace safety regulations to promote a safe working environment
Oversee the proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals while adhering to safety guidelines
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness standards are met and identify areas needing attention or improvement
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, laundry products, and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and usage
Collaborate with facility management teams to support sanitation efforts and maintain compliance with health regulations
Skills/background needed: Experience in housekeeping, custodial work, or facility cleaning with a strong understanding of cleaning standards. Knowledge of workplace safety regulations related to chemical handling, manual handling, and lifting techniques. Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of sanitation and customer service. Familiarity with floor care techniques, sanitation procedures, and the use of various cleaning equipment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to develop schedules and manage supplies efficiently. Excellent communication skills to train staff and coordinate with management. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting while following safe lifting practices. Full training will be provided.
