About the role
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our on-site team. You’ll maintain the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities while supporting laundry operations to keep linens organized and ready for daily use. This role offers a hands-on, varied working environment where no two days are exactly the same.
What you’ll be doing
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Prepare guest rooms for cleaning and perform all cleaning tasks (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom cleaning, changing linens, sanitizing)
- Replenish guest room and bathroom supplies regularly
- Handle rotation cleaning projects including deep cleaning and special maintenance tasks
- Perform minor maintenance such as changing light bulbs and filters
- Operate washers, dryers, and laundry equipment; load, unload, and clean filters
- Sort, inspect, fold, and organize linens for storage and distribution
- Identify damaged or heavily soiled linens and report findings to your supervisor
- Organize and distribute linens to team members and maintain stocked storage areas
- Track linen inventory monthly and alert management to shortages
- Report equipment issues or maintenance concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of laundry facilities and work areas
- Update room status on assignment sheets or tracking systems
- Restock housekeeping carts at the end of each shift
- Collect trash throughout the property and assist with outdoor maintenance as needed
- Respond promptly and positively to guest requests and concerns
- Support team members by covering shifts and helping colleagues when needed
- Report to work on time in proper uniform
What we’re looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
- Previous housekeeping, hotel, or laundry experience is a plus, but not essential—we’ll train you
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to a high standard of cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a busy environment
- Capacity to multitask and prioritize your workload
- Positive energy and a genuine commitment to providing good service
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
