We are seeking a diligent Housekeeper who will keep our facility looking its absolute best. You will work with a team of cleaning professionals. Our ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail while handling vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sweeping duties. Our team prides itself on providing outstanding service to our guests, and your housekeeping services are a significant part of this. Candidates with prior cleaning experience are preferred, but we are willing to train hardworking people who are team players.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Cleaning and maintaining corridors, guest areas, and service areas. Emptying trash and linen bags, and depositing linen down chutes. Vacuuming public areas, corridors, and guest rooms. Delivering equipment to guest rooms as needed. Stocking supplies in designated areas. Sweeping and mopping service areas. Checking public restrooms for cleanliness multiple times daily. Checking elevators and public spaces for cleanliness. Cleaning and preparing guest rooms, including changing bed linens daily. Dusting all furniture and surfaces. Removing fingerprints and smudges from mirrors, windows, and shiny surfaces. Thoroughly cleaning bathrooms including shower stalls, sinks, floors, and toilets. Reporting any damage or missing items immediately to your supervisor. Managing lost and found items. Checking and changing light bulbs as needed. Maintaining outside grounds. Assisting with deliveries and proper storage. Laundry responsibilities including removing stains, operating washing and drying equipment, folding linens to standard, washing kitchen and banquet laundry, and maintaining the laundry area. Handling laundry chemicals safely. Assisting other team members when needed. Following all workplace policies and procedures.
Skills/background needed:
Ability to lift, bend, move heavy equipment, and remain on your feet for extended periods of time. Good communication skills. Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellent service. Ability to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays. Willingness to learn proper housekeeping and cleaning techniques. No prior experience necessary – we provide full training.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Full-time, permanent position.
