We’re looking for a Housekeeper to clean rooms in a hotel setting. No prior experience is needed—we’ll train you on everything.
Housekeeper Duties and Responsibilities:
A Housekeeper cleans rooms and work areas to our standards. This role requires attention to detail, physical strength, and stamina for longer shifts. Here’s what the role involves:
- Understand workplace policies on shift timing, guest privacy, and handling guests’ belongings
- Perform housekeeping duties including changing bed sheets, arranging towels, restocking supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and tidying rooms after guests leave
- Report and handle any guest items found while cleaning
- Work as part of a cleaning team during your shift
- Clean, disinfect, and store all equipment properly at the end of each shift
Skills and Background Needed:
You don’t need prior experience, but the ideal candidate will have:
- Attention to detail—ability to spot and clean hidden areas where dust and dirt collect
- Physical strength and stamina to walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during shifts
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Reliability and a consistent approach to completing tasks
