Skills/background needed: No experience necessary. We provide full training in all housekeeping procedures and standards. You should be able to follow instructions, work independently, and communicate clearly with guests and team members. Physical stamina is important for this role, as you’ll be on your feet most of the day.
About the role:
As a Hotel Housekeeper, you’ll be responsible for keeping guest rooms and common areas clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Your attention to detail will help create positive experiences for our guests.
What you’ll be doing:
• Make beds neatly with fresh sheets and pillowcases
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including basins, bathtubs, toilets, and tile floors
• Empty trash, pick up items from floors, and organise furniture according to standards
• Clean mirrors, shelves, door frames, window sills, and baseboards
• Replenish guest supplies including towels, toiletries, pens, stationery, and tissues
• Operate a light vacuum sweeper
• Report any damage, maintenance issues, or unusual conditions to supervisory staff
• Complete assigned checklists and conduct walkthroughs with your manager before the end of your shift
• Handle any lost and found items immediately
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
