About This Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Residential Housekeeper to join our team. You’ll be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms and common areas to the highest standards, ensuring every space is welcoming, clean, and well-maintained.
This is a full-time, on-site position with no prior experience required. We provide full training and support to help you succeed in this role.
What You’ll Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Prepare and organize cleaning carts with supplies, keeping storerooms neat and efficient
• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to established standards
• Dust, polish, and maintain all furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Vacuum carpeted areas and wash hard floors by hand
• Replace linens, towels, toiletries, and room amenities
• Strip and remake beds with fresh, clean linens
• Clean windows, doors, walls, and hard-to-reach areas using appropriate tools and equipment
• Inspect room equipment (lights, TVs, faucets, phones) and report any maintenance issues
• Check door and window locks and report safety concerns immediately
• Carry and transport cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities throughout the facility
• Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor with guests and team members
• Report any missing items, damage, or hazards to your supervisor
Physical Requirements
This role requires you to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds, and work in environments with cleaning chemicals. You’ll need good vision for detailed inspection work and the ability to use equipment such as vacuums and cleaning tools. The work environment may be warm and humid at times.
Skills/background needed: High school diploma or equivalent; no formal experience necessary. Ability to follow instructions, work independently, pay attention to detail, communicate clearly with guests and staff, and maintain a positive attitude.
