Position Summary: Clean and maintain guest rooms, hallways, and other assigned areas to established quality standards. This is a great entry-level opportunity requiring no prior experience.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Report to work on time as scheduled
- Receive room assignments and collect your housekeeping cart, checking it’s properly stocked
- Clean assigned rooms following standard procedures: dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, restocking supplies
- Complete room assignment sheets to record progress and note any issues
- Perform stayover cleaning, being mindful of guest belongings in the room
- Report maintenance needs to your supervisor and complete required work orders
- Vacuum hallways in your assigned areas
- Collect soiled linens and deliver them to the laundry room
- Complete most assigned rooms before 3:00 pm (with exceptions as needed)
- Restock and organise your housekeeping cart after your shift
- Perform deep cleaning of guest rooms as assigned
- Return keys and assignment sheets to your supervisor and obtain approval to clock out
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Wear a clean, pressed uniform to work
- Attend and participate in all staff meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
What We’re Looking For: No experience necessary. If you have a high school diploma and are reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented, you’re a great fit. Ability to work weekends required. Full training will be provided.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
