Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized housekeeper to join our team. As a housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and common areas, providing excellent service to guests, and contributing to a positive and welcoming environment. No prior experience is necessary – full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Thoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms according to established standards
Gather and prepare cleaning supplies, linens, and guest items for each shift
Remove trash and soiled linens from rooms and hallways
Keep hallways, public areas and storage areas clean, tidy and vacuumed
Restock cleaning carts and replenish supplies for the next shift
Report any missing items or maintenance issues to your supervisor
Handle lost and found items according to company procedures
Ensure guests have a positive experience
Work flexibly including weekends and holidays as needed
Skills/background needed
You’ll need:
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds occasionally, and up to 20 pounds frequently
Ability to stand for your entire shift
Clear verbal and written communication skills
A friendly, service-oriented approach to working with guests and colleagues
Prior housekeeping or hotel experience is a bonus but not required
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
