Roles: Hotel Housekeeper
Summary: We’re looking for an entry-level housekeeper to join our team at a local hotel. You’ll be responsible for keeping guest rooms and common areas clean and well-maintained to our standards. This is a full-time position with a 9:30am shift start, 5 days a week. Flexibility is available upon request.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Cleaning and Room Maintenance
• Change and replace bed linens and towels throughout the day
• Clean and sanitize all bathrooms
• Dust and wipe down room surfaces including windows, mirrors, furniture, and electronics
• Vacuum and mop all floors
• Restock room supplies and amenities
• Ensure all rooms meet cleanliness standards
• Keep your workstation organized and fully stocked
Guest Interaction and Service
• Help guests whenever possible with questions and requests
• Respond promptly to any guest needs or concerns
• Represent the hotel positively in all interactions
• Help resolve any guest issues that come to your attention
• Follow all safety and security procedures
Other Duties
• Complete daily housekeeping reports
• Communicate with supervisors and front desk staff when rooms are ready
• Report any maintenance, security, or safety concerns immediately
Skills/Background Needed: No previous experience required! We provide full training on all cleaning procedures and standards. You should be comfortable working efficiently under time constraints, have a friendly and helpful attitude toward guests, and be willing to work a flexible schedule when needed.
Physical Requirements: This role involves standing and moving around for extended periods. You must be comfortable working with standard cleaning chemicals and be able to lift, push, and pull items weighing 25–50 pounds frequently throughout your shift.
