Duties
Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Handle cleaning chemicals safely, following proper handling procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Use cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, buffers, and other janitorial tools efficiently to complete daily tasks.
Maintain public areas by cleaning lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other shared spaces with precision and care.
Follow emergency procedures and sanitation protocols to ensure guest safety and hygiene at all times.
Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to linen or equipment movement while following safe manual handling practices.
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management to ensure continuous operations.
Skills/background needed
Familiarity with cleaning techniques and sanitation standards is helpful but not required—full training will be provided.
Ability to handle cleaning chemicals responsibly and follow safety procedures.
Comfort operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and other janitorial tools.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks, stand for extended periods, and perform manual handling activities safely.
