About the role:
As a Housekeeper, you will keep the facility clean, organised, and free of clutter and trash. This is an on-site role where you’ll work as part of a dedicated cleaning and maintenance team.
What you’ll do:
Your day-to-day duties will include:
• Clean and sanitise resident areas, common spaces, bathrooms, dining rooms, offices, shower rooms, and storage areas using proper chemicals and tools• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitise all assigned areas• Stock and maintain supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, soap, and sanitiser dispensers• Remove trash and replace bin liners regularly• Clean up spills and messes as they occur throughout the day• Handle basic maintenance tasks like unclogging toilets when needed• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to your supervisor• Assist with minor tasks such as replacing batteries in devices or restocking supplies• Maintain a professional and friendly attitude with residents, colleagues, and visitors• Attend training sessions as required• Follow all safety and compliance procedures
Skills/background needed:
• No prior experience required – we provide full training• Willingness to learn proper cleaning and sanitisation techniques• Ability to follow instructions and work independently• Physical fitness and comfort with standing, bending, and lifting throughout your shift• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work• Respect for confidentiality and workplace policies• Good communication and teamwork skills
