As a Housekeeping Aide, you will perform cleaning and servicing duties throughout the facility to maintain a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment. You’ll work under the supervision of the housekeeping team and help create a positive atmosphere for all residents.
Key duties include:
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and buffing floor surfaces
Cleaning and dusting furniture, closets, and vents
Sanitizing sinks, counters, and waste receptacles
Emptying waste containers and managing solid waste disposal
Applying room deodorizer as needed
Restocking paper supplies
Washing windows and walls
Gathering and organising cleaning supplies and equipment
Following proper safety procedures when handling waste materials
Skills/background needed:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
No prior housekeeping experience required — full training will be provided
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Willingness to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety
