Roles: In this position, you will support the housekeeping team by maintaining clean and welcoming common areas throughout the property. Your responsibilities will include:
• Clean and maintain hallways, corridors, elevators, stairwells, and carpet areas• Remove and dispose of trash from designated areas and common spaces• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and shampoo carpets as needed• Clean and maintain vending and ice machine areas• Dust light fixtures, railings, and other fixtures in common areas• Handle soiled linens and transport them to the laundry room• Restock clean linens and supplies on housekeeping carts• Collect and transport items for cleaning to the appropriate areas
What we’re looking for: You should have a strong work ethic and be willing to take initiative. We need someone reliable who can work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed. Above all, we’re looking for a team player who takes pride in creating a welcoming environment.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Full time, ongoing.
Skills/background needed: No prior experience is required. Full training will be provided. You should be able to:
• Lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds regularly• Stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout your shift• Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team• Communicate clearly with colleagues• Work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
