About the role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be keeping our facility clean, organised, and welcoming for everyone who uses it. This is an on-site role perfect for someone starting their career in housekeeping with no prior experience required – we provide full training.
What you’ll be doing:
As a Housekeeping Associate, your day-to-day duties will include:
• Cleaning and sanitising resident rooms, bathrooms, dining areas, common areas, offices, and storage spaces
• Using cleaning chemicals and tools correctly, following safety guidelines at all times
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming throughout the facility
• Stocking restrooms with supplies such as toilet paper and hand towels
• Keeping soap and sanitiser dispensers filled and in working order
• Removing rubbish and replacing bin liners
• Responding promptly to spills or unexpected messes
• Assisting with minor maintenance tasks as needed
• Reporting any maintenance concerns or hazards to your supervisor
• Working professionally and courteously with residents, their families, colleagues, and visitors
• Attending training sessions as required
Skills/background needed:
No prior housekeeping experience is necessary. We’re looking for someone who:
• Is reliable, punctual, and committed to doing quality work
• Takes pride in keeping spaces clean and organised
• Can follow safety and hygiene instructions carefully
• Communicates respectfully with all team members and residents
• Is willing to learn and take direction from supervisors
• Can safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment
