As a Housekeeping Attendant, you are essential to creating a welcoming environment for guests. You’ll clean and maintain guest rooms and common areas to high standards, ensuring every space feels fresh, comfortable, and well-cared-for. Your attention to detail and friendly approach will turn routine stays into positive experiences.
What You’ll Do
Create a Welcoming Environment
Clean all assigned guest rooms and common areas to the standards set by your manager. Greet guests with courtesy and a friendly approach. Perform daily checks of furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure everything is in good working order. Report any issues to your manager right away.
Master the Logistics
Mark each cleaned room on your housekeeping sheet and notify the front desk when a room is ready. Complete linen reports for every room and turn in lost and found items promptly. Keep your storage areas neat and locked, restock your housekeeping cart, empty trash, and clear vacuum filters at the end of every shift. Arrive on time in your uniform with your name tag, and check your work schedule at the start of your shift.
Ensure Safety & Security
Stay alert for potential hazards and report them to your manager immediately. Keep room keys secure in your smock at all times and never leave them on your cart. Maintain strict confidentiality of all business information, whether on or off duty. Report all maintenance problems to your manager to keep guests comfortable.
Skills/background needed: No prior housekeeping experience required. We provide full training on all cleaning standards and procedures. You should be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to manage your time effectively. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, stoop, and regularly use stairs. A friendly, professional attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
Contract length: Full-time, permanent position.
