We are seeking a Full Time Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at a local hospitality establishment. You will play a key role in maintaining high cleaning standards and ensuring guest satisfaction across all areas of the property. About the Role:
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and communal spaces to operational standards. Your duties will include:
• Cleaning guest rooms, public bathrooms, and common areas to ensure guest satisfaction
• Removing and disposing of trash and debris appropriately
• Performing laundry services including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels
• Assisting with room set-ups for guest arrivals and clean-ups for departures
• Restocking and delivering room amenities as needed
• Performing nightly turndown services
• Reporting maintenance requests and unusual circumstances to management
• Processing lost and found items
• Assisting with cleaning kitchen, restaurant, and spa areas
• Using cleaning equipment safely including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet-cleaning machines
• Maintaining cleanliness across all surface types including carpets, tile, glass, marble, and cement
• Working with a sense of urgency, keeping guest needs as a priority
Skills/Background Needed:
• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or related cleaning services preferred (but not required)
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent customer service attitude
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining composure
• Good spoken and written communication skills
• Basic knowledge of electronic systems such as time clocks and email
• Fluency in the primary workplace language; additional language skills are a bonus
• Reliable attendance, consistently punctual, and able to meet scheduling flexibility requirements including weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to push, pull, lift, and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds frequently
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Comfortable kneeling, bending, and climbing when needed
