About this role
We’re looking for a Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at a hotel property. You’ll work alongside the housekeeping team to keep guest rooms and common areas clean, organized, and welcoming. This is a full-time, on-site position with no prior experience required—we provide full training.
What you’ll do
Your main responsibilities will include:
Collect and transport soiled linens to the laundry area; deliver clean linens and supplies to room attendant carts
Collect and dispose of trash throughout the hotel
Keep floor closets, corridors, and storage areas clean and organized—wiping surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
Clean public spaces including restrooms, storage rooms, and exterior areas
Assist room attendants with heavier items such as mattresses and linens
Handle laundry operations when assigned—operating washers and dryers, folding linens, and inspecting for damage
Respond helpfully to guest requests and special cleaning needs
Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to your supervisor
Help with deep cleaning projects as needed
Skills/background needed
No experience required. We’re happy to train the right person from the ground up. You should be comfortable with:
Standing, bending, kneeling, and moving around the property for extended periods
Lifting, carrying, or pulling items up to 75 pounds regularly
Working with commercial cleaning chemicals
Fluent English (speaking, reading, and writing)
Basic math and reading skills
Working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
