About the Role:
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining guest rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. You’ll ensure every room is perfectly prepared and ready for arriving guests, contributing directly to their experience. This is a full-time, on-site position in a hospitality environment where your attention to detail truly matters.
What You’ll Do:
• Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms according to established standards• Stock and organize housekeeping carts with necessary supplies at the start of each shift• Remove trash, soiled linens, and used items, and replace with clean linens and fresh amenities• Inspect rooms for maintenance issues such as lighting, stains, or equipment problems, and report them promptly• Clean and reset all surfaces, furniture, and fixtures to meet cleanliness standards• Prepare rooms for arriving guests, ensuring all details are accurate and complete• Organize and maintain linen rooms and monitor supply inventory levels• Return housekeeping keys and complete required documentation at the end of your shift• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members about room status and special requests• Provide friendly, courteous service to guests and respond to requests efficiently• Follow all workplace policies, procedures, and safety standards• Assist with additional housekeeping duties as needed
Skills/background needed:
• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is preferred but not required—we provide full training• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards• Friendly, positive, and service-oriented attitude• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment• Strong work ethic, reliability, and good judgment• Comfortable using mobile devices for work-related tasks• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds regularly• Ability to maneuver housekeeping carts up to 100 pounds• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach throughout your shift
