What You’ll Be Doing:
Perform thorough cleaning and disinfecting of resident rooms, common areas, hallways, bathrooms, and other facility spaces. You’ll ensure all surfaces, floors, and walls are clean, sanitized, and free from debris. Handle cleaning supplies and equipment properly, and follow all safety and infection control procedures at all times. You’ll respond promptly to special cleaning requests and urgent sanitation needs, collect and manage linens, restock supplies in public areas, and document your completed work as required. You may also assist during emergency situations by promptly cleaning and disinfecting affected areas. Throughout your role, you’ll communicate effectively with nursing staff and other team members to address cleaning needs and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
Skills and Background Needed:
No prior experience required. We provide full training on all cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and facility-specific guidelines. You should be able to work independently and efficiently, pay close attention to detail, and have a commitment to maintaining cleanliness. You’ll need to be comfortable lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A professional attitude, good communication skills, and flexibility to work part-time hours, including weekends and holidays, are important for this role.
