What will you do?
Hire and manage room, house, and public area team members; provide regular training to team members; identify areas for improvement and efficiency
Ensure stay-over and vacant room service is consistently performed by attendants
Inspect all assigned guest rooms to ensure quality and safety standards are met
Demonstrate proper use of cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces
Handle cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with workplace health and safety regulations
Skills/background needed:
Minimum of six months of housekeeping experience in a resort or hotel environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills
No college degree required — we provide all training on the job
Physical requirements
Frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying
Use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing and washing duties
Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Visual acuity sufficient to inspect the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces
