Position Purpose: To prepare sleeping rooms, bathrooms and common areas for use by guests. Perform tasks in a safe manner to provide a high standard of cleanliness for all guests, staff and residents.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Interact with guests in a professional and hospitable way· Turn over and service rooms and bathrooms assigned daily using approved cleaning products· Notify supervisor of time off needed in advance· Assist team members when needed and ask for help when appropriate· Handle items left behind carefully, label them and deliver to front desk· Maintain cleanliness and furnishings of sleeping units, public spaces and offices· Identify and communicate needed repairs to your manager· Use care when entering and exiting guest rooms—announce before entering and check door lock status when leaving· Follow all health and safety rules and procedures· Work quickly without compromising quality or safety· Assist with maintaining inventory records and ordering supplies and linens as needed· Organize and store linens and supplies appropriately for easy access· Assist with room inspections and address any issues in a timely way· Communicate the status of rooms to your supervisor daily
Skills/background needed:
· High School Diploma or equivalent (or equivalent experience)· Prior housekeeping experience preferred but training provided· Ability to use basic software to schedule orders and maintain records· Strong attention to detail· Ability to work independently and as part of a team· Ability to communicate and work well with people from all backgrounds· Ability to lift items up to 25 lbs regularly· Ability to see, hear, speak, type and move between locations while performing tasks· Proficiency in English; Spanish language skills are a bonus
Contract length: Full-time, permanent position
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application

Additional Information: Weekend work is required. Schedule flexibility is available. Full training will be provided.
