Roles: Room Attendant/Housekeeper
Purpose of Position: As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for keeping guest rooms and common areas consistently clean and organized. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. You’ll create a welcoming environment where guests feel confident in the quality of their accommodation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Bring a positive, upbeat attitude and deliver outstanding customer service• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times• Respect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality• Work efficiently to meet time goals while maintaining quality standards• Clean and stock all assigned guest rooms, including changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, and cleaning bathrooms• Replace supplies and remove used items from rooms• Polish and straighten furniture and appliances• Keep your supervisor informed of room status throughout your shift• Greet guests professionally when you encounter them• Follow all health, safety, and sanitary guidelines• Complete training on security, safety protocols, and proper chemical handling• Keep your workspace, storage areas, and equipment clean and organized• Work methodically, following established cleaning procedures• Report any damage to furniture, walls, carpets, or appliances• Communicate openly with your team and attend daily briefings• Follow key control procedures• Assist with seasonal deep-cleaning tasks as needed• Process lost and found items according to procedure• Help train new team members• Support a positive, collaborative work environment• Perform other duties as assigned
Skills/background needed: No prior experience necessary. We provide full training in all areas, including safety procedures, chemical handling, and housekeeping best practices. You should be reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused. Physical fitness is helpful, as the role involves standing, bending, and lifting throughout your shift.
