Role Summary:As a Room Attendant, you will provide housekeeping services to guest rooms, ensuring they meet cleanliness and presentation standards. This is a full-time, on-site position with full training provided.
What You’ll Do:Your responsibilities will include:
• Clean bathrooms, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using appropriate cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and cleaning agents• Handle and secure room keys safely, returning them to your supervisor at the end of each shift• Keep housekeeping carts clean and organised• Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves• Vacuum rooms thoroughly and empty trash• Clean up spills immediately• Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms while following chemical safety procedures• Visually inspect rooms for quality and completeness• Perform additional duties as assigned
Skills and Background Needed:No prior experience is required. You should have:
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines• Good written and verbal communication skills• Willingness to learn chemical safety standards during onboarding• Physical ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Education:High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not essential. Relevant experience in housekeeping or cleaning will be considered.
Rate:Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract Length:Full time, ongoing.
