About This Role
We are hiring full-time housekeepers to join our team at a busy hospitality property. Your role is to maintain clean, welcoming spaces and provide excellent service to guests. This is an entry-level position—no experience necessary. We provide complete training and support.
What You’ll Do
Your duties will include:
Daily cleaning tasks:
• Clean and straighten assigned rooms, common areas, and staff spaces to set standards• Clean kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms• Wash and dry dishes, plates, and flatware• Empty garbage and maintain recycling• Remake or change beds as needed• Restock towels, soap, tissues, toilet paper, paper towels, and other supplies• Dust, vacuum, and wash floors• Clean toilets, tubs, and sinks• Maintain cleaning supply carts and order supplies as needed
Changeover cleaning (when guests depart):
• Clean all assigned rooms thoroughly• Change all linens• Clean inside drawers, closets, and refrigerators• Wash garbage cans and recycle containers• Wipe down pictures, moldings, and doors• Replace laundry bags, hangers, and shower curtains• Complete any additional tasks assigned
What We’re Looking For
• Ability to read and follow simple written and oral instructions• Ability to understand and use basic math (adding, subtracting, measuring)• Physical capability to stand for extended periods, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and climb stairs• Able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds regularly (cleaning supplies, linens, equipment)• Able to move housekeeping carts, chairs, nightstands, and other furniture• Good vision, including close and distance focus and ability to distinguish colours• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and around moving equipment• Friendly, cooperative attitude and attention to detail
