We are hiring for a Housekeeper position at a residential resort property. This is a seasonal role offering an excellent opportunity to join a team dedicated to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
What you’ll do:
As a housekeeper, you’ll be responsible for keeping resort areas clean and welcoming for guests. Your daily tasks will include:
• Clean and maintain resort offices, common areas, and guest accommodations using appropriate cleaning methods such as mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• Remove and dispose of trash and waste materials
• Prepare cabins and rentals for incoming guests
• Monitor and manage cleaning supply inventory, requesting refills as needed
• Report any maintenance issues or damage to management
• Assist maintenance and other team members as required
• Help with setup and cleanup for guest events and activities
• Address guest questions and concerns in a friendly, professional manner
• Operate motorized vehicles to transport supplies or run errands when needed
• Work collaboratively with management and colleagues to maintain smooth resort operations
• Deliver excellent customer service in all interactions
Skills/background needed:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some housekeeping experience is preferred but not required; full training will be provided
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and methods
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and current auto insurance
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Positive attitude and willingness to help others
Contract length:
Seasonal position, approximately mid-April through mid-September.
Rate:
Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Location:
On-site position at a residential resort property. Accommodation may be available.
