We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our team. Working under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will perform routine cleaning and maintenance work to keep our facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained.
This is a full-time, on-site position where you will take pride in maintaining a clean and healthy environment for staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Your day-to-day duties will include:
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and emptying trash throughout the facility
• Clean and maintain restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed
• Clean and sanitize treatment areas and offices
• Maintain carpeted and hard-floor areas
• Clean office furniture, walls, windows, and fixtures
• Inspect the facility regularly and report any maintenance needs promptly
• Handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely and in line with established protocols
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures at all times
• Attend training and educational programmes as required
• Maintain confidentiality regarding facility operations and staff
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and commitment to quality work
Skills/background needed:
Prior custodial or housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential – we provide full training to all team members. A high school diploma or equivalent is generally preferred. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, safe handling of cleaning chemicals, and ability to operate basic cleaning equipment is required. We particularly welcome candidates with prior housekeeping experience in a healthcare environment, though this is not a requirement.
Physical Requirements:
This is an active, on-site role. You will work in a clean, well-maintained facility and may be required to stand or move for extended periods. The role may involve stooping, kneeling, reaching, and lifting items up to 50 pounds. You should be comfortable using your hands for manual tasks and have good motor coordination. You must be able to communicate clearly with colleagues and understand written and verbal instructions.
Contract length: Permanent, full-time
