This position performs routine cleaning and linen services across a residential facility. You’ll be part of a team responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the property.
Main responsibilities:
You will clean and service rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, and common areas including showers, tubs, sinks, counters, toilets, floors, walls, windows, and furniture. You’ll use a variety of cleaning tools and equipment such as mops, vacuums, carpet cleaners, and floor machines. You’ll handle and transport clean and soiled linens throughout the facility, operate cleaning carts, and maintain supply dispensers. Additional duties include stripping and waxing floors, removing trash, loading and unloading washers and dryers, and sorting and folding linens.
What we’re looking for:
You’ll need a High School Diploma or equivalent. No prior housekeeping experience is required – full training will be provided. You should be able to follow written and verbal instructions, perform basic math, and work both independently and as part of a team. Regular and reliable attendance is essential.
Physical requirements:
This role involves being on your feet for extended periods. You may need to frequently bend, kneel, crouch, and stoop. You’ll occasionally lift or carry items weighing up to 50 lbs, and frequently handle items around 20 lbs. Overall vision and hearing (with or without correction) are necessary. You should be able to perform repetitive hand movements and move freely around the facility.
Working conditions:
You may be exposed to stressful situations and will be required to wear personal protective equipment as needed. You’ll receive annual health and safety training as part of the onboarding process.
