About the role:
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll oversee daily cleaning operations to ensure properties are maintained to excellent standards. You’ll direct housekeeping duties including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, linen replacement, laundry, and inventory management. You’ll also create work schedules, train and coach team members, inspect facilities, order supplies while managing budgets, and respond quickly to requests from guests and other departments. Your leadership will help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests and property owners.
Key responsibilities:
• Direct and perform housekeeping duties as needed
• Establish employee work schedules and assign daily tasks
• Train and coach team members in housekeeping and laundry procedures
• Check equipment to ensure it’s in working order
• Inspect units and facilities daily to determine cleaning needs
• Maintain organisation and cleanliness of storage areas
• Order cleaning materials and manage budgets
• Manage lost and found items
• Build positive working relationships within your team
• Follow all health and safety guidelines
• Complete additional duties as needed
What we’re looking for:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least two years of housekeeping supervisor experience (or equivalent leadership experience in cleaning/maintenance)
• Demonstrable leadership and team management skills
• Flexibility with scheduling
• High energy and genuine passion for cleanliness and organisation
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
