What you will be doing
As a Housekeeping Aide, you’ll help keep common areas clean and welcoming. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Vacuuming and mopping hallways, stairwells, and common areas
- Cleaning and restocking vending machines and similar equipment
- Removing and disposing of trash from throughout the facility
- Dusting light fixtures, railings, and other surfaces in hallways and common spaces
- Shampooing carpets and deep cleaning floors as needed
- Handling and transporting clean and soiled linens
- Cleaning and restocking glasses and dishware
- Supporting the housekeeping team with restocking supplies as needed
What we’re looking for
You don’t need any prior experience to succeed in this role. We’re looking for someone who:
- Is eager to work hard and take initiative
- Works well as part of a team
- Can handle varying shift schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Is reliable and takes pride in their work
Physical requirements
This is an on-site, hands-on role. You’ll spend your day moving around the facility, which means:
- Frequent standing, walking, and moving throughout your shift
- Regular lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 25 pounds
- Bending, reaching, and using your hands for various cleaning tasks
- Good communication skills to work effectively with your team
