Overview: We are seeking a Full Time Housekeeper for our residential care community. This position includes working every other weekend and scheduled holidays as part of a rotating schedule.
Schedule/Hours: Full-time position, 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with every-other-weekend and holiday rotation included.
About This Role: You will be part of a dedicated team committed to maintaining clean, comfortable, and safe living spaces. This on-site role is based at our residential care community, conveniently located for an easy local commute.
Responsibilities: As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility. Your duties will include:
• General cleaning, floor care, washing, sanitizing, and polishing furniture and fixtures• Waste removal and supply stocking• Window cleaning and surface maintenance• Collecting laundry from resident areas and designated spaces• Sorting, labeling, washing, drying, and distributing linens and resident clothing on an assigned schedule• Ironing as required• Inspecting laundry and linens, and reporting replacement needs to your supervisor• Ensuring housekeeping and laundry supplies are replenished in work areas• Cleaning, inspecting, and properly storing equipment, tools, and supplies at the end of each shift• Other duties as assigned
Skills/Background Needed: No prior experience is required. Full training will be provided. We are looking for someone with:
• Flexibility and the ability to work effectively with residents, coworkers, and visitors• Personal integrity and a strong work ethic• Ability to take direction, prioritize tasks, and organize work with others• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to communicate with colleagues and residents• Willingness to learn and adapt to a team-based environment
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract Length: Full-time, ongoing position.
