About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and create a welcoming environment for guests and visitors. As a Housekeeper, you will ensure that facilities remain clean, safe, and well-organized. You will work as part of a team under the direction of your supervisor, contributing to the daily maintenance of the building and surrounding areas. No prior experience is required—full training will be provided.
What You Will Do:
Guest Room Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bedrooms and bathrooms, to maintain high cleanliness standards. This involves:
- Changing bed linens and making beds
- Replacing used towels and replenishing toiletries and amenities
- Vacuuming carpets, sweeping and mopping floors, and dusting surfaces
- Emptying trash and replacing garbage bags
- Cleaning and organizing guest rooms and public areas
Public Area Cleaning: Clean and maintain cleanliness in public spaces such as hallways, lobbies, elevators, fitness centers, and business centers.
Inventory Management: Restock and maintain necessary supplies in guest rooms and housekeeping carts.
Reporting Issues: Report any maintenance issues, damages, or malfunctions in guest rooms or public areas to the appropriate team member.
Guest Interaction: Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a timely and courteous manner.
Safety and Security: Ensure the security and privacy of guest rooms and follow workplace security guidelines. Handle cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with health and safety protocols.
Collaboration: Work with other team members, such as front desk and maintenance staff, to coordinate guest requests and room turnovers.
Skills and Background Needed:
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Physical stamina and ability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to learn cleaning procedures and proper use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Good communication skills and ability to interact respectfully with guests and team members
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract Length: Full-time, on-site position.
