What will you do?
Thoroughly clean and sanitize public areas, rooms, and restrooms
Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to the disposal area; replenish supplies
Conduct walk-arounds of assigned areas to ensure the facility meets housekeeping standards
Ensure all linen rooms and work areas are neat, clean, and organized
Interact with and assist guests on occasion while cleaning guest and meeting rooms
Report maintenance repair problems to supervisor
Ensure all lost and found items are turned in and logged daily
Skills/background needed: No experience required. Previous commercial cleaning or guest service experience is a plus. You should be comfortable working quickly under pressure, following instructions, and using various cleaning equipment. You’ll need the ability to make simple calculations and have sufficient vision to inspect room cleanliness.
Physical requirements: This role involves frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying. You’ll use your hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing and washing duties. You may occasionally need to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
